Crochet

I am new to crocheting. I started a year ago and I guess you can say I've been "hooked" ever since! No more jokes, sorry. I am a dork and I couldn't help myself.

Here is a run down of the projects that I have done so far.
FOOTBALL HELMENT BEANIE

I purchased this pattern from www.etsy.com/shop/laurabetty727 . This was a great pattern. Very simple to follow. Loved it! She gives you sizes newborn to adult.  I just made him one in our school colors. I will try to add a photo soon of that one too. I used Lionbrand Woolease. Very nice thread.

OWL HAT

I made this for my sweet little grandbaby girl, Kaylee.  She will look so cute in it this winter!

I purchased this pattern from www.RAKJpatterns.com. It is a SC pattern. It runs a small. So really check your gauge and measure your subject.  I used Redheart Soft.

BABY BLANKETS

I have two grandbabies. Kaylee is two and Clay is almost 3 months.  Since the kids share a room,  we had to redecorate to make it a little less girlie! My daughter made them quilts. Maybe one day I can add pictures of those. She really did a good job. But I wanted to make them some blankets that they could use when they curled up on the bed to read or take a nap that coordinated with their quilts.

This is Kaylee's. I thought it looked more girlie! I got the pattern from Lionbrand. I used "I Love This Cotton" yarn from Hobby Lobby. I must say, I really do love it! It's soft, lots of colors.

This is Clay's blanket.  I got this pattern on Pinterest. To go directly to the pattern click here! Love this and I think it's manly and sweet!
